How much does window film cost?

The cost of window film will depend on a number of factors, including the size and type of windows being filmed, the type of film being used, and the complexity of the job. In general, window film can cost anywhere from a few hundred dollars to several thousand dollars, depending on these factors.

Can window film be removed?

In most cases, window film can be removed from windows, although the process can be difficult and may cause damage to the glass if not done professionally. It is generally best to leave window filming to professional window filmers who have the necessary equipment and expertise to remove the film safely and effectively.

How long does window film last?

Our interior window films have a lifetime warranty for residential application and between 10 and 15 years for commercial installation depending on film choice. Our exterior films have a warranty between 3 years and 15 years for both commercial and residential films depending on orientation of the glass and film choice. We find that most interior films are generally replaced every15-25 years depending on sun exposure, foot traffic etc.

Can window film be applied to any type of window?

Window film can generally be applied to any type of window, although some types of windows may be more challenging than others. Contact us to determine the feasibility of installing film on a particular window.

Can window film be applied to double-pane windows?

Yes, most window films can be applied to double-pane windows, although it is important to use a film that is designed for use on double-pane windows. Using the wrong type of film can lead to problems such breakage.

Can window film be applied to windows with curved or irregular shapes?

Can window film be applied to windows with frosted or patterned glass?

We do not recommend installing window films on frosted glass and we do not install window film on patterned or bent glass.

Llumar V33 Film

We installed a beautiful film called Llumar V33 on the Tisch Tower. This solar control film has high visibility and high heat control without causing a reflective exterior. The glass is single pane, so the client had a hard time keeping high solar heat out of the building. This project was 10,000 square feet of glass.

Avery Dennison Optitune 05 Film

Client had a large glass roll door that would get hit with intense sun all day and was making it very difficult for the employees to work comfortably and effectively. They tried covering it with cardboard, but needed a more elegant solution. We installed Avery Dennison Optitune 05, which is a dual reflective film and has a heat rejection of 84%. This is one of our most popular films.

Llumar DR 25 Film

Solar Control film on all south, west, and eastern exposures to block out heat and improve HVAC load. For this project we installed Llumar DR 25 on roughly 45,000 square feet of glass. Llumar DR 25 is a dual reflective film which has high visibility and high heat control.

Avery Dennison Blackout Film

Client was getting a fresh buildout and needed to cover the walls that were going to be installed in front of the glass. Industry standard is to cover glass with a film that matches the spandrel glass or use Avery Dennison Blackout film. This is a 100% privacy film.
